Welcome to the Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University School of Online Education an Institute of Online Learning!
Over the last couple of decades, with the developments in technology teaching and learning that is facilitated beyond the walls of traditional bricks and mortar. In India, the pace of change in online learning has recently accelerated to the point where many institutions are now willing to courses. These developments make learning and getting a university education possible for a much broader spectrum of society than was previously possible.
In an increasingly connected world, there are new and exciting possibilities in teaching and learning that could not have even been imagined just a few years ago The School of online Education has a mandate to champion the pedagogical, curricular, cultural, policy and infrastructure changes necessary to take full advantage of online and blended approaches to teaching and learning. We aim to increase the quality and quantity of courses using these approaches across the University.
As someone who is a lifelong learner, and who has studied on campus in all levels of education from school or college, I am keenly aware of the possibilities this approach opens up for students already at the BVDU, and those who may be considering learning with us.
I look forward to working with the campus to embed online learning initiatives in the fabric of the University.
